Oh, I'm just impressed by the speed you've turned out the model, and how detailed it looks. No offense intended. Got any larger pics? 8)

*Elusive Vorlon sighting #2*

It looks good, except the nacelles seem WAY short...

------------------
Sheridan: "Well, as answers go, short, to the point, utterly useless and totally consistant with what I've come to expect from a Vorlon..."
Kosh: "Good."
Sheridan: "I REALLY hate it when you do that..."
Kosh: "Good."

usually, modeling techniques are the same for any 3D modeling software, whatever the price.what's important is how to manipulate objects with your BRAIN.

Yeah baby! I don't think your nacelles are too short but maybe your nacelle struts sould be lengthened a little.

What bugs me is, it got all the way over here, and I hadn't even told anyone I was working on it, let alone finish it. Its FAR from finished. The mistake here being I sent it to Pedro to finish, and it ended up getting to Dev and he thought it was done... Now I just feel sick about the whole thing. I almost certainly thought the first thing you guys would pick up on are the messed up bridge windows...

But on the cool side, the phaser banks are modeled in a pretty cool way, as are the escape pods, which are individually numbered... Not the first time someones done that, but these are modeled numbers, so the ship is going to look fantastic in closeups. You guys will get to see the finished product in our Scifi-Art Y2k update, and as a real treat, this baby's probably going to be up for download.

Oh, well, these things happen. I really do like it, and in these views can easily overlook the bridge windows and the nacelles (which look like they're foreshortened anyway). Can't wait to see more. . .

Although I must agree, extend the warp nacelle pylons. Also, I think the deflector dish in the front of the saucer needs to be lit up

"Can you pull in the leviathan with a fishhook or tie down his tongue with a rope? Can you put a cord through his nose or pierce his jaw with a hook? Will he keep begging you for mercy? Will he speak to you with gentle words? Will he make an agreement with you for you to take him as your slave for life? Can you make a pet of him like a bird or put him on a leash for your girls? Will traders barter for him? Will they divide him up among the merchants? Can you fill his hide with harpoons or his head with fishing spears. Wow. That's all I have to say on that.

And a Simpsons reference for good measure...

Great.

I'm not sure about the nacelles, would have to see a side view.

Now that the thread is here and so many people have posted, it should stay here.

The Nova ships are very impressive, who cares if they aren't finished. That Defiant (or whatever it is), err...... doesn't look good. A pod doesn't seem to fit on one of the coolest ships ever designed.

Tachy, the stuff at scifi-art is fantasmagorical especially that excelsior - but the Prevaricate class... looks like a sandwich

I always thought that the Pevaricate-class was just a large runabout designed like a Defiant-class ship.

I loved the "gunmetal" finish as well, gents.
Very clean. Almost surgically sterile in it's attacks.

Last time I went to Scifi-Art, it kept feezing my computer. Same thing happened with the Starfleet military Reserves.

Anyway, this was the first time I've visited your site since the summer, Tachy, and I'm very impressed.
The Sutherland and Enterprise-E are outstanding -- kudos to Cooper and Ralph Schobert.

Something I've wondered though: do the Negh'Var's ventral cannons hang down quite so much. I didn't think so.
Just a neighbourly nitpick.

*Waits for the August movies to download*

For fuck's sake!!!
What the hell is vids:IV50 decompressor?>! *^$%@" anyway! I'm not waiting for the others to download --
I'm off to rile someone in Starships or the Lounge.

Cool shot of the prevaricate. I just put one together using defiant, runabout, and farragut micro machines.
Plus a little putty. looks pretty cool so far, now i just need to primer and paint it.

Tachy: I presume that this is the fabled Mustang. Not bad at all.

Ahh...I see. I think the old CV is a class car also.
I mena, what other car would Roger Moore have driven through those orchards?
