OK, this picture is a worry - I found it while surfing the web - and I don't know if its doctored or not...Copy link location - its a Xoom picture. http://members.xoom.com/_XMCM/st_starships/nebula/nebula12.jpg It looks like a four digit number to me - but maybe something happened during the screen grab to muck up the first or last number? There is too much space between NCC and the number. The - is most probably part of a 7, because then it will make 71201, and that is the rego of the Nebula Class USS Prometheus.------------------ "Reality is a condition that occurs because of a lack of alcohol." - Albert Einstein (-=\V/=-) [This message has been edited by Altair (edited February 03, 2000).]

I recognise that scene from "Second Sight," actually. Although a four-digit registry would be nice to annoy everyone who insists on a coherent registry system.------------------ Frank's Home Page John Linnell: "This song is called...it's called..." Audience: "Louisiana! Montana!" John Linnell: Don't tell me what it's called..."
