I scanned an image of the Wolf 359-scene from DS9 "Emissary" that was shown in st:fact files. This pic features the as yet unidentified ship to the right of the Borg-cube (I think Frank says that this is an excelsior-class starship) I then compared it to a constellation-class starship-pic in st:encyclopedia, and here is the result: http://hem.passagen.se/pinasov/wolfconstellation.jpg Sure looks alike, but not quite right. Its not an excelsior, however. Could it be a constellation-class variant??------------------ "The Starships of the Federation are the physical, tangible manifestations of Humanitys stubborn insistence that life does indeed mean something." Do you have the large pic of that scene? It may be a bit clearer from a distance------------------ "When You're Up to Your Ass in Alligators, Today Is the First Day of the Rest of Your Life." -- Management slogan, Ridcully-style (Terry Pratchett, The Last Continent, Discworld) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Prakesh's Star Trek Site

Well....no. I didnt bother to scan the entire scene. I just wanted a big pic. I do have a smaller pic of the ship on this page, though: http://w1.314.telia.com/~u31412332/misc/wolf359.htm ------------------ "The Starships of the Federation are the physical, tangible manifestations of Humanitys stubborn insistence that life does indeed mean something." Well, the dome on the ventral-side of the saucer COULD indicate a Constellation-class, I hope it is.------------------ -At least I can get it up without biomechanical pumps. -Try falling into a pit of lava, Moffy. Then see how horny you feel.
