Where was the E-C built and what was the NCC of the T'Kumbra?

NCC-1701-C was built at the McKinley Fleet Yards, Earth Orbit. And the registry of the U.S.S. T'Kumbra is unknown.

McKinley? Where does that come from (dedication plaque)?
We know the NCC of so many ships, we've never seen. Why is the NCC of the T'Kumbra unknown?

Earth Station McKinley comes from the TNG Tech Manual
The reason T'Kumbra has no registry number is because the Encyclopedia decided not to make one. Most of the ships frim TNG that were's seen were actually seen on status displays, with registry and class names given.

I think that the Tech Manual mentions that the 'spider' space docks - i.e. docks like McKinley were built to build the Ambassador class ships... Make sense - those 'dome-shaped' habitat areas on the top look very 'Ambassadorish' not Galaxyish... Why couldn't we have seen some Ambassadors in the "Relativity" scene of Utopia Planitia... Also, why in that scene did only Galaxies use the 'McKinley' space docks and not other ships like Akiras?? The rest used the orbital shipyards from TMP and Generations...

Maybe they were made for large starships past the 450 meters mark?
