Y'know...I think that might be the Prometheus. Not that quad-engined (Sex-engined? Fun, but no...HEX-engined!!) abomination from "Message In A Bottle," but the Nebula-class one from DS9s2 "Second Sight." There was a scene or 2 with Sisko, Seyetik, & the ship's captain on the bridge...but I don't think the XO & "mission specialist" seats were there.------------------ "Do you know how much YOU'RE worth??.....2.5 million Woolongs. It could be the Ent-D as seen in Generations or All Good Things... I know that in one of those two they added the stations on the side. And what is wrong with the Prometheus? ------------------ "Do you want to be President?" "Yes." Are there 3 stations/seats in the middle of the Prometheus-Bridge?------------------ "No matter where you go, there you are." [This message has been edited by Fitz (edited June 13, 2000).]

No. There's only one seat in the center of the Prometheus bridge.------------------ Falls don't hurt. It's the sudden stop when you reach the bottom that hurts.

I cannot recall ever seeing a bridge with it's tactical console in that location... But there are three bridges that I've never seen. I have seen a schematic of the Nebula Prometheus, however, and that bridge isn't it. So I'll say it's either the Saratoga or the Odyssey.------------------ Falls don't hurt. It's not the Saratoga....ref. page 7 of "The Making Of Star Trek: Deep Space Nine" by the Reeves-Stevens (AKA "The Wonder Twins"). There's a bunch of production drawings there for sets for the first 2 episodes; among them is the Saratoga bridge; not square or rectangular...it's atually rather..um, "head-shaped."------------------ "Do you know how much YOU'RE worth??.....2.5 million Woolongs. It's a question from a quiz, and I don't know exactly if it is realy squared. This could be a simplification.

I'd have to say this is the pitifully cramped bridge of the USS Sutherland from "Redemption". Remember, Data and his XO bickering? His XO was always just to the side of his chair. And those design sketches of the Nebula class were on screens on the sides.------------------ "The things hollow--it goes on forever--and--oh my God!--it's full of stars!" -David Bowman's last transmission back to Earth, 2001: A Space Odyssey The 359 Webpage

The Sutherland had stations on either side and in back of the captains chair, IIRC...I don't know if it fits the above diagram.------------------ June is National Accordion Awareness Month. "And as we all know, 454 Okudagrams equals an Okudapound." - Rick Sternbach

I've ask the quizmaster for the correct answer, and *aargh*. This guy took the design from a fan-site and thought it is a canon design.

Speaking of bridge designs, bought DS9s "The Jem'Hadar" yesterday, and I got some good looks at the Odyssey bridge. It definatly looks like a redress of the Saratoga bridge, with some Enterprise-D elements added on. The tactical station is a silver railing, nothing like the E-D bridge. Behind it are some big consoles, but in the very middle of these consoles (directly behind the captain's chair), the wall is moved back, and there are more consoles. This is where the dedication plaque on the Saratoga had been. Off to the left (from the Captain's point of view) is the turbolift shaft, which I believe Sisko went through when escaping the bridge when it was the Saratoga------------------ "The things hollow--it goes on forever--and--oh my God!--it's full of stars!" -David Bowman's last transmission back to Earth, 2001: A Space Odyssey The 359 Webpage

Could someone point me to a view of the Sutherland's bridge?------------------ You're a Starfleet Officer. "Weird" is part of the job.
