Well, it looks like the author of this book is a fan of an RPG called Vampire: the Masquerade. I recognised that name immediatly.

Just wondering, is there also someone called Marcus Vitel in that book?

Not necessarily. Sejanus (d. AD 31) was the chief administrator of the Roman Empire for the emperor Tiberius.

Hmmm... that actually explains a lot about the Vampire: the Masquerade version.

What a coincidence, since Sejenus was played by Patric Stewart in the BBC I, Claudius mini-series (w/ hair too)

That was a toupee, man. There's no way Stewart's head ever looked like that, even in 76.

I know it was a piece, but still it was a bit of a shock to see it. Anyway, Patrick stewart really doesn't look any older from that time period as compared to now. He's always looked the 40-50yish person.
