Hi there!

I've finally succeeded in getting a picture of one of my LEGO starship models.

I know this might also belong in the Artwork section, but as this subject has been discussed here before I thought I should rather post it here.

Anyway, here is the first pic, my take on the Nebula class.

Any ideas, thoughts, suggestions or requests?

That's keen, and yet also very disturbing.

And I'm almost certain it's "Smoke me a kipper."

And be back for breakfast!

Did I miss an episode, or is there something very odd going on?

"Stoke me a clipper..." was what 'our' Rimmer said after taking over from 'Ace Rimmer', who said "Smoke me a kipper...".

Thanks, Eclipse.

But to be honest, I didn't post this thread to talk about my signature.
What about the main subject?

Interesting, I like it. Now, if you could build it on a 1:1 scale I would be very impressed...
No, really nice.

I'm working on that at the very moment. ;-)

But seriously, I have built several other classes such as the Miranda, Excelsior, Akira and Sovereign, although the last two are not finished as I had a few problems with the Akira saucer and the Sovereign nacelles. (Especially how to join them to the secondary hull).

I hope to get some pictures of those as soon as possible and post them.

If you can find the thread, Scott Key is building a scale (to the lego figure) model of the Defiant. His AIM name is "MetallicaMan" so you might want to drop him an e-mail or IM.

I like it! Now, if we could see some SETS (corridors, engineering, bridges) rendered in legos, I'd be drooling even more!

Keep up ze' good vork! (Which was inwented in Wussia so that you know)

I know about the defiant thread, Jeff, thanks. Actually I've posted in that one as well.
Only then I didn't have any pics to post.

I have built the bridge of the Ent-D as well, although it is blue! (can't find any LEGO bricks that have the matching color)

Actually, a lot of the Star Wars sets have the beige and browns needed to build ANY of the TNG sets ... unfortunatly, it'd be a bitch to spend the money to buy enough of those pieces neccessary!

You're right. The problem is LEGO won't sell you bricks separately in the amount you would need to build such a model. Shame really.

Very nice. I have also built a starship model, of the Enterprise D. My only suggestion is that you raise the bridge a little more, but other then that it's very good.

Isn't that a Phoenix-style pod/support? The Bellerophon was of the sort that most of the Nebulae have been...

*nitpicking w/ the best of them* :-)

I know, I know. *starts to cry* Don't be so cruel. ;-)

To be honest, I renamed the ship. It was labeled Phoenix when I built it, but I preferred Bellerephon/Bellerophon in the end.

I had built the Ent-D as my first model, but had to disassemble it in order to get the parts I needed for the Nebula.
