We see for the first and only time the Flight Deck, where Kirk took Anton Coridian's/Kodos' daughter for a bit of "rumpy pumpy"

Where on the ship was this supposed to be? I gather over looking the hanger bay? On our left we see open windows to space. Does this mean that this 'flight deck' was along one side of the Engineering hull?

Is this supposedly similar to the 'flight deck' we see Scotty in, in The Final Frontier?

Also, does anyone know what was the actual line mentioned reguarding the Star Liner in this episode?

Also did anyone ever noticed that this set was reused as the bridge of the Romulan ship in Balance of Terror?

Homer: I'm gonna miss Springfield. This town's been awfully good to us.
Bart: No, it hasn't, Dad. That's why we're leaving.
Homer: Oh, yeah. [pokes his head out the window] So long, Stinktown!

That was the observation gallery that flanked the shuttlebay on the upper level to port and starboard. At the forward end they meet the transverse corridor that leads to the flight control room. Anyone got some scans from The Making of Star Trek or the Star Trek Sketchbook or the Fact Files or SOMEthing?

Okay, I was slightly mistaken. The p/s corridors do lead to a transverse corridor, but that's not where the control booths are. I will have scans up later this evening.
