Yeah, yeah, you kids today - trading multi-megabyte video, linking to around 24-bit JPEGs, formatting text with stylesheets. What a waste of bandwidth!
In my day we drew our starships in 7-bit ASCII characters - and we liked it!
I've spent a few hours updating and/or drawing new Federation ships in ASCII for my site, including some of the new ship types identified in the Wolf 359 debris field and Qualor II junkyard. http://www.calormen.com/Star_Trek/ASCII/
