What do you think? Could this square near the computer display be the Rhode Island's dedication plaque? [ July 20, 2001: Message edited by: Spike ] [ July 20, 2001: Message edited by: Spike ]

It's a possibility. We've seen dedication plaques in locations other than the main bridge. The Tsiolkovsky had her plaque in a corridor, and the Phoenix (I think) had it in her captain's ready room.

Yes, and the Hathaway's DP was in the engine room.

Sternbach would probably know if the Rhose Island had a dedication plaque, wouldn't he? I know his Usenet group is gone, but is anyone in e-mail contact w/ him?

Yes, but I think he is probably very busy with Enterprise, so someone who has a good connection to him should ask. Oh and btw: Enterprise-Spoiler $ $ $ $ $ $ $ [ July 20, 2001: Message edited by: Spike ]

I assume you're pointing out the golden rectangle, eh? Looks exactly like the original series plaque... could it be (gasp!) more continuity with the original series?
