does anyone out there know where i can find pictures of MSD's from ships other than the main Voyager,Enterprises,Defiant.

Especially Akira

i dont care if they are made up but they must be in the same style as voyagers MSD

thanks

I've created a few of my own. I don't claim that they're accurate, but they're pretty reasonable IMO.

Wow, nice MSD's...although what are those things in the Yeager Class?

Judging by their placement, they might be docking clamps to allow the "saucer" to separate...

Those are supposed to be structural braces, to hold the two seperate hulls together... I never thought of having the ship separate, though!

They're all cool. What's the orange blob on the Steamrunner?
Also, I've noticed something interesting on the Olympic class. Look in the Encyclopedia under "USS Pasteur" at the big picture of the Olympic. On the side of the hull, beneath the nacelles, is a gray door with the name of the ship beside it. Could this be an airlock?

I always thought it was a very large airlock to move lots of patients or equipment in and out of the ship.

Speaking of MSD's, anyone know who made this Akira MSD?

Akira MSD

I really like the look and was wondering if he or she made any more. If you want, here's another one, but of the Steamrunner-Class.

Steamrunner MSD

In addition, the other MSD's posted looked great!

The "orange blob" on the Steamrunner MSD is obviously a very large, very pixelated Bussard collector.

Posted by MinutiaeMan (Member # 444) on :

Yeah, that bussard collector didn't come out to well...

Didn't someone make the Nova Class MSD after "Equinox" came out?

I still prefer my Prometheus MSD though...

Posted by TSN (Member # 31) on :

Well, Sternbach made a Nova MSD even before "Equinox" came out... :-)

Has anybody done MSDs or their equivelant for older ships, like Mirandas/Constellations/Ambassadors/etc.?

Posted by MinutiaeMan (Member # 444) on :

Here are some more I've done. Unlike the TNG-era ships, which cut-and-pasted objects from an official MSD, these are totally original.

I have a Federation-class dreadnough MSD that is really detailed .. its a 1500x700 file.. but its not here.. ill upload when i have it
.. one tip to minutiae.. it looks like your old ships are completely filled with quarters.. especially the constellation, for example.. i have one i worked on for it and i put a lot more equipment near the bottom greeblies.. and an auxiliary bridge, phaser stations (like in TOS they still needed gunnery crews thats what all 430 people did on the ship they didnt hide in bed during battles like on the 1701D) sickbay, computer rooms, transporters, shuttlbays.. sorry, im rambling, just a little, but this is one of my oldest trek activities doing cutaways... just some friendly criticism.
and also, would the steamrunners bussard collector be visible in a centerline cutaway, or would there be stuff between it? ive seen two that do that so far
