Archer's chair has this nice ergonomic look to it, and I really like the way the arms connect and project from it. I really like Kirk's chair because it was, in many ways, a throne (quite perfect for the seat of the captain). It was elevated enough to give the captain the aura of importance and to give him/her the ability to see everyone's station and monitors without getting up.
