This is topic In which Tom says I told you so then points to Bernd's site for some excellent news in forum Starships & Technology at Flare Sci-Fi Forums.
When word broke that Sternbach wouldn't be working on Enterprise, there was shock and dismay. And I said, well, gee whiz, they still had a pile of art department talent kicking around from Insurrection and Deep Space Nine that needed employment and that once an opportunity existed to put together a second design group again Sternbach would likely be in the thick of it all. And, now, in a rather cool interview, Bernd has confirmed my suspicions. Thanks, Bernd! And a hearty welcome back to Rick, too.

Damn! That's some cool stuff. However, I think the "I hate NX-01" feeling as a little overly stated.

No, I think the "I hate NX-01" stuff is entirely justified!
A very cool interview. Thanks, Bernd.

It would be interesting to see what Sternbach would have suggested for the NX-01. To be honest, I like the thing...

How in the world did Christian accomplish die Sternbachstraße?

I just felt the need to ask about the Akiraprise too. After all, Rick is *the* person to ask when it comes to technically correct starship design.
