So it transfers the stuff to the freighter Huron, which is then pirated by the Orions before it can rendezvous with the Enterprise. The name "Potemkin" is thus only uttered in a brief expository speech (a Captain's Log?) at the beginning of the story.<br /><br />However, I don't trust Foster's novelizations much.
