Hell I don't know. And does it matter? seeing as many detest this ship anyway. But the model exists, alongside the Curry, Yeager, Centaur etc, and they appeared yet the Medusa seems strangely missing. But I've never been able to identify the ship in this screencap satisfactorily (From 'A Time To Stand'). I always believed it was another Curry. But I'm not sure.

Looks more like the Raging Queen to me.

That's the "Raging Queen" model, the one that's like the Curry but w/ sideways nacelles.

Blowing it up even further and tracing around it the initial speculation of the Curry/RQ could well be correct. I wish I had a better capture card and I'd do some super hi res captures of this whole scene. DVD would be even better...

Yes, that looks like the Raging Queen to me.
There seem to be three "layers" to the ship in the image. Based on what we know of the models, the only design that would fit that description is the Curry/Raging Queen.
I think that the little "angle" that appears at the bottom of the ship is an artifact from shadows, and is actually the engineering hull. The middle and longest "layer" would be the nacelles.

This was posted by someone a while back when we knew a bit more about the models. Although 'A-wing' isn't an A wing as we've worked out now, it's a model of a fighter jet isn't it?
It's from whoever types 'phylons' for pylons.

I believe the Elkins's sec. hull was most of an F-14.

I'll probably build a physical model of the Medusa in 2500th scale using the saucer from the "B" kit. What do you guys think? Too ugly?

Oh, and while we're at it, same scene, some moments later we see the Curry. Behind the ship are two Mirandas. Since they are far-background, and since we all don't know if the image from the DS9TM is upside down or not, one of them, maybe both, could be the Medusa, two nacelles down, one up (and the reason we can't see the upper, thin Constitution phylons). The front profile is, if you leave out the third nacelle, nearly identicl from that distance.
