Cuz' I'm the kind of geek to notice these things. ..
Not only are Troi and Riker's consoles back, but they have an addition - they have a small handlebar wrapping around the front of the thing, such that the people sitting there finally have something practical to hold on to as the ship shakes.
Huzzah! This was one of my real complaints on the E-D bridge. Riker and Troi had nothing practical to hold onto when under attack. On numerous occasions, we see Will grab the seat of his chair between his legs, for lack of anything else to hold onto. Deanna basically just sat back in hers. This was bascially repeated on the E-E bridge, and compounded with the entire abscense of the consoles in the last movie.
Go, bridge stuff!

They've been waiting for seat belts for 225 years! Didn't Hoshi make some crack about installing seat belts on the bridge in "Broken Bow"?

They've tried seat restraints before. In the early movies, Kirk's command chair arms folded down over his lap. Starfleet soon removed them after it realized that putting something that close to Kirk's groin wasn't the best of ideas. For a time, the Excelsior's bridge chairs had the arms that locked in front of the person. Obviously, the Starfleet engineers were smoking a little too much marijuana while watching Pee-Wee's Playhouse on the job.

Would they be the air bags made out of exploding circuitry!?!
Oh, and where did you see the new bridge? PLEASE let's hope they've returned to the look of FC (i.e. darker, more textured) and hope it doesn't look like the flat foul beige-palace it did in Insurrection. (Like they'd run out of money for lighting the set).

You can see the pictures in the TrekX section of MediaTrek.com. The set is identical as far as I can tell, and since stuff tends to be exploding in the pictures I've seen, I can't reall judge the paintjob - though it looks like it should. For that matter, I didn't really notice a difference in paint jobs between 8 and 9... The lighting was brighter in the latter film, the XO consoles were missing, and of course there was that big viewer at the front as a welcome addition.

Additional: In a picture on this page, you can see the tactical consoles are somewhat different. They seem to have an extension build into their bow-facing edge, adding a little more console space. Compare it with the consoles from First Contact on this page. It can't be a shadow.
