Argh, I was out last night and won't be able to do a detailed commentary until tomorrow probably. Capsule notes:

-Travis Mayweather, action hero

-Glowey green Gatorade

-Where's the inspection pod set?

-Name dropping: Tellarites, Risa, P'Jem

Actually, Travis wasn't an action hero, he was just guarding things. [Wink]

Tech: Just what's supposed to be dangerous about spent injector casings? From "injector" I'd guess that it was from the warp core -- that's something we know uses matter and antimatter injection. But why would the casings be radioactive? (Please, PLEASE don't mention that ludicrous concept called "antimatter radiation"!)

Vulcan weaponry apparently does not have a stun setting as of 2135. That's quite surprising, considering that the Humans have them already, only 15 years later. You'd think that the Vulcans (who, although apparently well-practiced in the art of under-the-table "diplomacy" are still a fairly peaceful culture and clearly have a great respect for life) would design a stun setting for their weapons as soon as possible.

I read on TrekBBS there was a Vulcan ship in the episode. Was there a name for this ship? (I didn't see the episode. There was a family emergency.)

According to the captioning, the Nyran. Captian Tavek commanding. The ship was only spoken about, not seen.

I thought that this was a so-so episode, although they couldn't find him to with 30 people was weird...
