Many many people may know this, but dialogue in "Conspiracy" confirms the canonicity of the classification "heavy cruiser". Specifically, the Ambassador class is referred to as such.

Holy crap, you're a genius....only about a dozen other threads have discussed that starting waaaaaaaaay back and for that matter, as recently as 2 weeks ago .
And you even forgot to mention the use of "Frigate" in that episode too....
