This is from the script for "The Maquis, Part I," during the generic expositional dialogue for the Badlands. I haven't seen this episode in close to eight years, so I can't recall for certain. But this would seem to support the suggestion that the Equinox and the Cardassian ship were indeed both in the vicinity of the Badlands when they were taken by the Caretaker.

Not that we really needed much more evidence, but IMO it's always nice to have more circumstantial evidence to support general assumptions...

Anyway, can anyone with the DS9 S2 DVD confirm this line for me? It's towards the end of Act Five.

i dont have the DVDs myself but Flare persona non grata Edipis Reks was watching s2 and discussing it with me a few weeks back.. if anyone can get in touch with him, he'd know.. i'll ask him when i get back from CT

MinutiaeMan; you are correct, Sisko does say the words you have quoted when refering to the Badlands.

I can confirm this with my memory and my old video tape copy of the episode. Must have seen that episode three to four dozen times now . . . [Big Grin]
