A relatively interesting rundown of what Being John Eaves is all about is now up at startrek.com.
The actual interview seems a bit more than a year old, with the majority of the focus on Nemesis. Some newish insights, especially with regard to how the whole art department unit functions together. Plus EXCITING STAR TREK 5 FOOTAGE.

There were exciting moments in Star Trek 5?
Sorry, couldn't resist a joke.

...such a great one at that.

I saw it today... which made me wonder if the MSD for the Enterprise-E was based on earlier versions of what Rick was working on before ILM had to put the ship together.

That sketch for a pop-up "gunner station" launcher is pretty lame. Rendered nicely, just not a good idea.
I really want to go to wonderfest next year and meet Eaves. I like his alien ship designs a lot. Okay, not the ones from Nemesis, but everything from Enterprise and INN.

The mention of them working on the episode "Dead Stop" would seem to place the interview around the end of 2002.

Is there somewhere I can find larger versions of those bridge sketches?

Short answer, yes, long answer no.
Some of the sketches I've seen before, so maybe. There was a link somewhere to the official fan-club having such artwork, so maybe there. But no doubt you meant "without having to pay for them" so probably not. . .
