I saw this picture and I was wondering: Is that a schematic we see of the tng runabout, and does anyone have a better pic?

That looks like Deanna saying "Hello Di-anne"

Deanna looks like she's acting in a hemmoroid commercial.
Even more than usual.

Hm. Same chairs as Voyager's conference lounge.

My monitor is always too dark for screencaps, I guess, but I don't see anything that looks like a schematic, or a display of any kind. Is it supposed to be behind Data?

It's just a side profile of the Runabout. I remember seeing it upclose before. Although... I do want to see it again.

It is asideprofile isnt it? Thats why I wanted to see it upclose as well..

What WAS that set turned into? I know the only other time we saw anything remotely similar was in "The Visitor" with a nice shot showing Jake looking out runabout windows as the Federation evacuated DS9 to the Klingons.

The set was originally intended to be a permanent standing set, wasn't it? (Or, if not, at least a set that they could put back up quickly).

I remember reading where TNG put in the money for the set to help out it's "sister show".

It's possible that the set eventually became the crew quarters on the Defiant. I believe the sleeping cubicles seen here on the runabout set are the same as the cubicles we see on the Defiant.

Parts of the set were later seen as Professor Seyetik's quarters on Prometheus. That's about it, really...

It is indeed a side profile of the runabout. Obscured by Data's shoulder is another view of the runabout that seems to alternate between a top-down and front view.

Deadcujo, any caps? Both views?

Thank you! So, is it just the angle, or does the schem look like the nacelle is tilted? If so, thats not your standard runabout configuration.
Posted by Aban Rune (Member # 226) on :
I assume you mean tilted as in, the nacelle pylon looks like it's tilted toward the aft. If so, it's just the angle.

For some reason the images do not work for me. But I watched the episode recently after reading the topic, and I can confirm it's just an average display of a Runabout (Probably the same they use in the cockpit). There's another scene where the display is shown up close (Data is sitting at that console). I'll do a screenshot.
Just give me a second...
