If you've been missing ye olden days of squinting at barely-readable screens of text, long no more for "New Ground"(RNG5) has something you need!

Looking here, we see two images of Riker's console . . . most of the details called out are relatively obvious and covered elsewhere, but there's some interesting bits in a block of text on the right, including length, width, height, mass, and more.
The problem? You can barely read it, naturally.
What do you see?

It's a standard infographic about a Galaxy. I can see "std crew complement: 1012 persons", "maximum evac capacity: 15000 persons", "standard environment: class M crew", that sort of thing. A bit on cruise/max warp speed.
The top says "Built At Starfleet Utopia Planitia Yards", followed by overall length/height/width & gross vehicle mass.

Yes, but those are interesting digits. To my knowledge IIRC they don't otherwise appear in canon.
The mass is particularly of interest to me given the volumetrics project at my site. It looks like a 5 or 6 leading off, which is different than the tech manual figure IIRC.

Mass values often vary widely from ship to ship depending on equioment & materiel.

. . . and season of Riker.
Still, though, I wouldn't expect two Galaxies to be so different in mass (a million tonnes) that one could literally be hiding a disassembled Constitution inside.

The standard value is 4.96 million metric tonnes. Going up to, say, 5.24 isn't unreasonable.

Using Voyager's 700,000 tonnes as a guide, I'd expect it to be 6.5 million or so.

Portalrealm on Twitter has a save of an auction pic of a similar, more readable graphic. Not sure if it showed up on screen anywhere but it is probably the same data, and readable, to boot.

OVERALL LENGTH = 841 METERS OVERALL HEIGHT = 473 METERS OVERALL WIDTH = 133 METERS
They’ve transposed height and width, haven’t they?

Or this whole time we've been looking at the ship sideways without knowing it.

Pretty sure that's a 6, just that the font continues the proud Starfleet tradition of being complete ass for distinguishing 6 and 8.

As for the transposing, excellent catch.

Ha, so it is. 800m+ is way too long. I recall thinking at the time of my original post that it didn’t feel right that the length was nearly twice the height, er, width…
