I thought i'd post a picture of my 'work-in-progress' - I've actually had this sitting on my 'puter for over a year I think!?! I every now and then, get around to adding things to it. Here, though, is a version.
What do you think.
Oh, and I thought i'd get it 'out there' before 'Enterprise' comes along... even though it is NOT of that era. It is a '24th century' starship.

The nacelle struts/pylons are 'wide' cause they aren't just struts/pylons, they actually have 'substance' - hence the windows... only probably a deck or two worth, but more than pylons. - until you get closer to the nacelles, and where they angle down.
The front... yes, room for deflector thingies... on the very front, and the scoop-out section will resemble the Voyager front scoop out section... not finalised. Looking at it though, it could be a 'bulge' not a 'scoop-out'! ;o)

Er, so you're going to put the main navigational deflector and the auxiliary deflector one on top of the other? Or is the scoop just going to resemble the Intrepid-class scoop?
