So, over the past few months (beginning when I got the DVD boxsets of TOS) I have successfully achieved the coup of getting my girlfriend hooked on Star Trek. She has taken quite a liking to TOS, particularly to...who could have guessed...Kirk and Spock. Being somewhat artistically inclined (and perhaps wanting to convince me that she wasn't just watching the show to appease me) she did these busts with colored pencils, and I was quite impressed:

Another of Andrew's legendary quick reactions there.
Nice pictures though. But does she not find sexy Pavel Chekov to be sexy?
-------------------- Yes, you're despicable, and... and picable... and... and you're definitely, definitely despicable. How a person can get so despicable in one lifetime is beyond me. It isn't as though I haven't met a lot of people. Goodness knows it isn't that. It isn't just that... it isn't... it's... it's despicable.

She's planning on doing all the TOS regulars. Dr. McCoy will naturally be next. I'll post those too, when she's finished, though it may take quite some time. (Being a double Chinese/English major at UC Davis, she's often quite busy.) Glad you guys like them.

Like Doctor Jonas said above, I think she really got Mr. Spock's character in that expression. Send her my compliments.
