Does anyone have a better quality scan of this image: http://www.stguardian.to/mixed/predesign/constrefitrichardtaylor.jpg
It's from the ST-The Magazine issue on the release of the STTMP Director's Edition in the "Redesigning the Enterprise" (I think that's the title).
As a matter of fact, if someone could scan all the pictures from that article, I would appreciate it a lot. Thanks for any help.

Except that those are of the final configuration of the filming model, wheras the one in the initial post is of the interim configuration, from before they switched VFX companies during the production of TMP.

This is a little cleaner: http://www.starfleetcom.net/lcars/fsd/art/images/re-4.gif
It's from this article at the Federation Starship Datalink.

That one's about the same quality. I need a scan that's big enough and clear enough to see the fine details.

You know, on reflection I've got to question if that drawing is genuine, because it appears to have text in between the pennant lines on the engineering hull as appeared in the final film. But Andy Probert told me that text wasn't intended for that location at all, but that Doug Trumbull decided to move the decals with said text at the time the decals were placed on the miniature. This would likely have been post-Abel and probably post Taylor.
Curious... or maybe I'm misremembering. Time to ask Andy more questions!
