This is a drawing I did a long time ago. It is a command bridge. The picture speaks for itself, I'd think. http://fleetyard.virtualave.net/temp/flagship_bridge.jpgPS. Don't mind the silly chairs, they're standard CorelDRAW symbols . ------------------ To know a thing well, know its limits. Only when pushed beyond its tolerances will true nature be seen. Does this mean that all turbolifts that go to the bridge have two doors?------------------ "Lately I've noticed that everyone seems to trust me. It's really quite unnerving. I'm still trying to get used to it." - Garak, "Empok Nor"

There's no deck 2 access either, but I'm not complaining. I like. Especially, I like the arrangement of peripheral rooms to the bridge, and the turbolift access to the ready room and the conference room. Although I'm not too sure about what ship's systems / engineering is supposed to monitor if it's not directly on the bridge. Are the grey areas at the back of the bridge additional stations, or just wall segments? And I take it that the twin centre chairs are for the fleet and ship commanders? Nifty work! Wow, Coreldraw can do that? I guess I'll have to upload it from my old computer, I never gave it a chance.Anyways, nice work. Though I was a bit confused at first, I figured it all out that there were multiple rooms in this image. I like the simplicity of your design. It appears to have al the things I would expect a bridge of a flagship or fleet command vessel to have. Oh, and I like the idea of placing a transporter room adjacent to the bridge. One of my fanfic starship designs had something like that (unfortunately it never made it to this forum), and I've always thought it a good idea. Keep 'em coming! I'd like to see more. ------------------ Call me Musashi!!! -Andy

The dark grey things are indeed work stations. No, the turbolifts have one door, but they can turn around.Engineering 2 is much the same as Main Engineering, except for direct systems access.
