Finally I've finished updating my site. The previous one was full of horrible newbie PHP code and somehow I had decided to use frames, which is equally horrible.
This new one is a lot cleaner, a lot more basic, but it is now easy to update. If only host.sk was just a little quicker and more reliable. I should actually buy my own domain one day
Anyway.. What do you think of it? Is it too basic? Too red? I've been working on it too long to make any sort of objective judgment

And after all that time I spent on that blummin yard patch! I'm suddenly reminded why I started charging for custom work

It will return, but just not as the site logo. I decided to use more of a TOS-ish layout. Plus, it's just a bit more cumbersome to work with a logo you can't easily edit.

They're coming back, but only with some reasonable articles to join them. Oh, and my really old designs probably won't come back. They're silly and very low quality.
But perhaps I can make a sort of preview section which serves as a dump for my finished designs.

Looks nice, Harry! A bit simple, but the red is definitely a stand-out.

I like it too. Both, design and content.
BTW: Is it a coincidence that your TOS patches look like the patch of the USS Cortez from the Marvel Early Voyages series?

I don't know nuttin' about no steenkin' USS Cortez. It's supposed to be a stylized Saturn.

Hey.. does anyone know a nifty free counter? And I mean one that can count hits on individual pages. So not like NedStat, which I already have. But something like SiteMeter, except without the annoying "You have to pay to use this" links.

Try cgi.resourceindex.com and php.resourceindex.com -- you can find a few possibilities that you could install yourself, and not rely on a third-party service.

You could find that out by analysing your log-files with Mescalero or WebLog Expert.

Well-done, Harry! While I liked your previous web design, I think it's nice that there is more color now.
