The way they presented admirals in the enclyclopedia was vague enough not to really contradict anything. An admiral with two pips is indeed a two star admiral whether the offical title is Rear Admiral or whatever. Also it does still leave it open for the possiblity that rank of Commodore still existing (it is essentially a one star admiral- and a much better title than the idiotic Rear Admiral (Lower Half) now used by the American Navy. <br /> </font> </td></tr> </table></td></tr></table> <br /> <br />
