Here's a little bit of tracing I did. I traced from Bernd's Cheyenne schematic. I did this in PSP. The only special tool I used was putting a layer overtop the original schematic. I drew the whole thing pixel by pixel. Pretty good, eh? I think so. Oh, and, no comments on the name and registry, please ------------------ "Huh. An intelligent guard. They are indeed, aren't they? They're probably about the same size as Galaxy impulse engines, but the ship itself is somewhat smaller than a Galaxy.------------------ "Huh. An intelligent guard. I never would have guessed." -Stith, Titan A.E.

Frank and I already discussed this. I say the Crazy Horse is actually a Cheyenne, as originally intended by Okuda. We simply saw it as an Excelsior through a series of gaffes on behalf of the production staff. Also, the Crazy Horse's rego is quite a bit higher than your average Excelsior class range. ------------------ "Huh. An intelligent guard. I never would have guessed." -Stith, Titan A.E.

You go Fabrux! I think Carzy Horse would be a much better Cheyenne name than an Excelsior name.------------------ It doesn't matter if you don't know what you're doing as long as you look good doing it.

Look, none of this is real. Who cares what's official and what's not. If Fabrux wants to imagine a different Star Trek universe, let him and don't rag on him. Let's face it, we're all a little weird for taking this so seriously in the first place. It's his drawing, his imagination, and his life. I envision a different Star Trek universe from what all you guys think too. I don't think you are worng for what you think. And besides, this is the non-canon zone. What's canon and what's not shouldn't even be an issue here.------------------ It doesn't matter if you don't know what you're doing as long as you look good doing it.

Shadow, I agree. But this thread wasn't about that and Fabrux asked us not to comment on the name/number. He clearly admitted that it was wrong in the begining. It shouldn't have been brought up. This thread is about his picture, let's get back to that.*clears throat* Nice work. And yeah, the engines are from the 1/1400 Ent-D. Great, Fabrux. I tried the automatic tracing tools of all available programs, but the result was poor. So you actually edited it pixel by pixel?------------------ "Species 5618, human. Fabrux: I guess that even understanding Bzier wouldn't help much. Have you ever tried Designer (the winner of my software test)?BTW: Your rendition looks almost exactly like the file I get when I export my Deisgner drawing w/o smoothing - which sometimes works, unlike most other filters of Designer. ------------------ "Species 5618, human. Well, the original probably took a few days. I'd guess about 30-60 minutes for this tracing. Maybe. ------------------ What I'm looking for / Cannot be sold to me / I wish they all would stop trying / 'Cause what I want and what I need / Is and will always be free - Incubus

Fabrux: You might try an older version of Designer (well, except for version 6 which has too many bugs), somewhere as a special offer in a computer shop or department store. But be warned: Drawing is fine, but the export filters are crap!------------------ "Species 5618, human.
