After 5 years of buggering about (in the nicest possible way) I'm getting my teeth into this one. I've got a picture here with three version of the same ship and am having a hard time picking one design to run with. I'd like some feedback on the vessels, what you like about them (if you like anything about them at all) and which version you give the thumbs up to. The type 3 was the original protoype drawing.

Cheers

First remove the / after your .jpg, cause at first you had a nice 404 error..... I thought it was an interesting design....

Second, I like the Type 2, it seems a little less cluttered without all the extra shapes and lines of the T1 and without the 'mini-planes' on the T3.

Can I see the Type 2 in a stealth modle?

I agree. Type 2 is coolest.

Curryus: did you get the inspiration for this from a He-Man back-pack/jet sled, by any chance? Because the tail looks identical to to the one in your designs, especially the third one.

Yup. The third one is the closest approximation to it. Jeez, that takes me back to the glorious year of 1985...

God above, that's weird. I think it was the tail that clinched it - you've even got the thing going up hte middle that came up 90 degrees that you "hero" could hold onto. I'm straining here - were those things on the wings (in #3) blue missile-things?

I'm not sure. Maybe they were little skiffs or something. In my interpritation they are support vessels. About 150m long.

Teeheehee

No, I meant on the toy.

What bloody size is this thing supposed to be, anyway?

426 meters. Approx. Could be as little as 350 m. Mind not made up as yet.
