So the malon society rivals the Dominion and the Borg?

What's that diagonal line doing there? It seems to connect with that curved line which I suspect is Voager's trajectory, but it isn't labeled.

I agree, I find it hard to believe the Malon would have that much space. Plus I think the Klingons and Romulans should have a little more.

As for Cardassian space, maybe at its peak. But now? Probably just their own solar system.

Well, as someone Krenim? Mentioned here a few years ago - the Malon space expanded for light years - and it was VERY huge...

look it was just a quick map.

All you should have gotten from it.

1. It was an attempt at a look at the Galaxy from an oblique/3d angle.
2. So the Cardassian territory - might not be very 'wide' but could be more 'deep' etc. etc. same with all the others.
3. To show how we can have the Klingons and Romulans and existing so intertwined, having them still interact with the Cardassians on the 'otherside' of the Federation - that their space is not a solid sphere - its different star systems that probably all intermingle with each other - stretching out here and there...
4. Just admire it.

P.S. Yeah, Cardie space is probably pretty small now... its from probably around DS9 season 3. When everything was pretty status quo - for a while.

P.P.S. I did this in about 10 minutes mind you.

P.P.P.S. Can't anyone see the divisions between quadrants... and even a vertical axis at the centre of the galaxy!?!

Looks a lot better al of a sudden.

BTW, Is anything canon known about the placements of the Romulans and Klingons relative to eachother? I mean, most maps show the Ks and the Rs just the other way around (Rommies north of Klingons). I have to say this (and with 'this' I mean the above map) makes more sense (late FC with Klingons, if we disregard ENT)

A nice map, perfectly logical, except i tend to agree the Malon species would cover only a small patch of the Delta Quadrant. Perhaps this area could be replaced by the Hirogen, they've been wandering around there for centuries hunting this and that...

Here's another interpretation of a galactic map, although i only created it to show my envisioning of Fed / card / Rom / Kli spatial relations.

I know there are things wrong with it:

1. Ktaria is known to be called Ktaris.
2. Romulan space will 'probably' encompass a little of the Alpha Quadrant although there are Beta natives.
3. This possibly goes for the Klingons too.
4. Ceratin star system locations are entirely imagined, and may bear little resemblance to where others would've placed them. But i@ve tried to work as logically as possible.
