From just this view, the front half echoes the command section of a Klingon Bird-of-Prey. A cool effect, I think.
So, what's the function of this ship? A medical ship like the Olympic Pasteur? Or a science ship or an explorer?
It's a pretty cool design. I look forward to seeing the other views.

hmm??? Posted by The_Tom (Member # 38) on April 01, 2002 12:02 PM:
Sorry... That was meant in a loving way, honest.
Just sorta unique-looking in that it looks like an Olympic minus the top half plus something new...

I don't think the image is showing up, now. Way to go, Tom. You scared 'im off. Posted by Aban Rune (Member # 226) on April 01, 2002 09:17 PM:
Very interesting. It definitely has an Olympic-esque thang goin' on. From the side, it reminds me of Lando Calrisian when he was dressed up as the skiff guard in Return of the Jedi.
But hey...it's quarter after 8...I'm not really awake yet, so I could be seeing things.

Does anybody remember the old Marvel "Inhumans" comic?
It's the U.S.S. Lockjaw! Posted by Vogon Poet (Member # 393) on April 02, 2002 07:44 AM:
Oh my God! It's one of those zombie apes from the Gorillaz' "Clint Eastwood" video! 8)

Personally, its very original. It looks like a Sovereign class Oberth class hybrid. You can see the Sovereign traits in the nacelles and the secondary hull. The primary hull had a merging of Intrepid 'neck' to bridge layout with a half Olympic... orb hull?

When do we get to see some more views?
I'd really like to see it from the front.

Methinks Lobo hasn't seen the videos.
Well, no fear, it's a compliment. At least, I think so.

Interesting...looks like the offspring of an Olympic class and a Klingon Bird-of-Prey. For some reason, the side view makes me think of the cartoon character Popeye... Posted by Vogon Poet (Member # 393) on April 10, 2002 01:45 AM:
Quail, mortals! No disussion of Olympic variants is copmplete without mention of the greatest of them all, the. . *drum roll* Baywatch! 8)
