Here is a little doodle I did earlier tonight, and I thought I might stick it here...
How do you get to flare upload again? I'm using my web-space at the moment - but being in Australia it might take a little longer than I think Flare-Upload might... I'm not too sure.

I know many will hate the idea, but this kind of concept, in my opinion, is what the Enterprise should've looked like from the start. It adhere's a lot more to continuity.
Nice work.

Does anyone think OX-class is an apt class? I.e. is this how ships of this era are classed? Does anyone think this might have been how NCC came about!?!
Maybe it should be NY class?
For this time period - should the 'ball' stay as is... be 'stepped' or the same but more hull plating exposed?

I agree with RA, I was expecting something like this , maybe a more tubular body but definately a round "saucer section". I guess it wouldn't have looked sleak enough. And therefore not sexy enough. [ April 13, 2002, 06:56: Message edited by: Grokca ]

Might I point out that even though the Daedalus class has a spherical primary hull and comes from this era, it's not indicitive that all ships of this era must also have a spherical hull. The Daedalus was the only design from this era until Enterprise came out. We assumed that all ships of this era were like the Daedalus without enough supporting evidence. It's possible that both kinds of saucers were in use at the same time.
