The thought occurred to me the other night while talking with Lee that I should put up all the weird SF uniforms I've made over the years. They're not the best, but hey, they're just for fun.

Some interesting ideas here. That one with the one shoulder patched in the division colour might have made a decent successor to the DS9/VOY fatigues, had the FC uniform not come in. . .

So what's the story behind that first set of uniform. I'm guessing they are some sort of SF/Bajoran uniform hybrid, but why? For the love of god?

They're "inspired" by a book that I had the misfortune of buying. Sometimes books are on sale for a reason.

Yeah, Millennium was a definite attention-to-detail fest for minutiae loving fans.
But the people who write it made it very similar to William Shatner's writing style.

no, the people who wrote Millennium books wrote it in their own style. Judtih and Garfield Reeves-Stephens were Shatner's ghost writers.
