I'm new here so I thought I'd say hi. I've been into Sci-Fi since the day I learned to read and picked up a Heinlein novel. Of course I've seen all the Trek and Star Wars stuff, Blade Runner, the Matrix and anything else that comes out that worth seeing. Also I have a website with my 3d artwork at http://home.covad.net/~sandefur Here is an image I've been working on for kicks... http://home.covad.net/~sandefur/hf2.jpg [ December 11, 2002, 13:56: Message edited by: Topher ]

Nice texture on the bug's thorax. You might try changing the flame from it's back to more of a orange color to split-compliment all that green. Just a sugestion from your typing impared Graphic Designers in the wang of america...

Welcome! Your pic looks good, but in the future, you should not inline your big images. Put links to them instead. Not everyone has a big monitor with a high resolution setting. It can also screw up the clean layout of the page even on large resolutions. It may also be a drag to load up for those who have already seen it.

Yah... I'd say half that size and you're fine... but something that size might work better as a link.

Welcome. I like that buggy ship. Looks like something from Masamune Shiro.
No trek stuff at your site, though...

Any chance of seeing Heinlein 'Starship Trooper' powered armor - not the crap from the movie - but the way he described it?
a Heinlein fan.

There is a Japanese anime version from the 1980s, I think. I saw a still from it once. Big power-armor suit with thrusters.
Edit: Here's a page about power armor, with a part about the Japanese anime version: http://www.geocities.com/Area51/Zone/5835/Troopers.html
