haven't touched this one over a year i think. now i wanted to finish it.
it's an old trek ship, going to be in the era of the nx. i dunno if i'll add laser cannons or phase cannons to it though

somehow i can't decide which nacelle design to take...

I love that ship! PosDef it belongs between the DY and NX series.

Suggestion:
Go with the domed nacelle caps. And go red.
Lettering should be the old USAF font (as per TOS).

i've thought about the bussard issue and have come to the conclusion that the first one is the best. the others just look too tmp-ish.

oh, and the ship missed something essential. it's added now [Big Grin]

nice model... planning to do any textures?

if you want a more ENT look go for metallic panels, and for a TOSier version i suggest adding some wear & tear, scorching on engines, etc to cover for the lack of paneling detail

i think that only the bottom part is left for detailing, maybe also the fuel hatches.

Your Daedelus Class ship looks good - but the panelling looks a bit too... shiny. The new ship is looking better - give the panels a bit more of a weathered look?

didn't do much, except for maneuvering thrusters and new exhausts

and i'll see what i can do about the weathering

This is a great ship, really nice design, and follows logical elements for the era that the NX lacks. Great work.
