Well. Its time I start fleshing out the amount Stargate schematics on the net. First up: The Tel'Tak (Cargo Ship). I'm currently working on a top-view. I think my next project will be an Alkesh bomber. Those look fun.

Hm... It looks very short. I thought that those ships were longer.
Weird.

That is FANTASTIC!
That first pic looks like a scan!! It's not is it?
I've been wondering/asking about Stargate schematics for a few years!! About time!! There was never any reference material on the net to get anything started, though.
That is REALLY nice.
Remember that 'largest objects' and 'different sci-fi series ships... well those 'charts' need Stargate ships on them. Especially Anubis' big-arsed mothership.

Wes, that looks great! I've been desperately looking for decent "Stargate" schematics to add to my comparison chart, but I've never found any. I eagerly look forward to seeing more work from you!

Unless he photoshopped those coffee stains for added realism, yes it is.

Well, whoever made it didn't know how to spell "emitter", anyway.

^^ FUCK!!!. Fixed that. Thank you all for the comments and suggestions. I wont be able to start the top view until later tonight.
I think I might schematic out some things other then ships too. doing a nice one of a Zat or Staff weapon would be fun.
Also added some misc. stats. They are extrapolated from a screenshot of the latest episode "The Lost City, Part 2", assuming O'Niel is 1.83m tall.

Indeed. I did. Here is a clear version of my vector image: (Adobe Illustrator CS for lyfe)

I added the blueprint-ness and coffee stains just for a sence of realism, like it was taken right off of George Hammond's desk. Stargate sort of has that feel to it, and I want my artwork to reflect it. Mabye i'll release a couple of PDFs of the schematics in the future.

Actually I think we have.
Didn't we see the cargo ship land? how can it land if it has sides that drop below the base?
And maybe you could put the 'hidden' door in - that we saw in the Bounty Hunter episode and the Asteroid episode?

Wes, your coffee stains fooled everyone
(And, to clarify, when I said that I thought that those ships were longer, I meant exactly that: In my mind, those ships were longer, contrary to the evidence )

I just take some scans of coffee stains i find on the net (Google image search rules) and composite them in Photoshop.
(for those of you knowledgeable: use the multiply overlay mode on your coffee stain layer and set your opacity down to 15-25%)

very well made. the coffee stains look similar to the coffee stains done in Star Trek: The Original Series on drawings of Matt Jefferies designs.. note that, in the later years many of the movie-era and TNG-era had coffee stains that basically replicated the appearance of the TOS coffee stains, but there seemed to be some lack of quality compared to the earlier coffee stains.

I can't seem to remember what happens to the sides of the ship; but from what I recall from the bounty hunter episode and a couple others, the entire bottom of the ship is flush with the ground when it lands. I'm thinking the sides move when it lands, but I don't recall ever seeing that happen.

I guess the only real tactical threat to the Goa'uld Tel'Tak vessel is to be skewered by a giant wooden lance and toasted over a terrible, ground-based plasma-fire pool!

We do see the cargo ship land in a couple of episodes. If I remember correctly the sides of or wings of the Tel'Tak retracked within the ship when landing.
