The story of how it happened is funny. I was inspired by Harry's deRuyter class, but I wanted to do something different with the placement. I kinda pimped out the engines, but I was insisting on introducing a triangular dorsal hull. It just didn't fit with the rest of the lines of the ship, and when I let myself see that (2 days ago), it sort of fell together.
I want it to be some decades after the Adams class surveyor Brickhead is modelling for me over at SFM.(3rd or 4th generation UFP) Probably an escort craft or surveyor. (I need a good corvette for my fleet, I'm leaning that way).
Thoughts?

Interesting design... Not too sure I like the flatness of the saucer, tho.

Odd. Not quite about it yet. I guess I'd have to see some more detail on it before I make any judgements, especially since the way your details come out usually make the final design a lot more realistic than the overall design would imply. (That's a compliment, if it wasn't clear!)

Kinda looka like a Akira design with only one catamaran thngie. Needs a bridge- mabye just recessed into the hump there...

It would look less "bulky" in the front view if the pylons were straight, not right-angled.
