I know I've been a bad Flareite over the last year *mutters something about his new job keeping him busy*
So I thought I'd post this drawing I just finished. I've been hired to do 10 sketchbook intro spreads and this is the first.
The original has a little more depth than the photo shows. It was hard to get good lighting in my kitchen at 1 in the morning...
The characters are: Bond, Nikita, Samus Aran, Lara Croft, GI Joe, and the Shadow, plus the guns from MIB and Firefly.

Sean, Aban is a real life artist, of course he did, Rune is our real life pervert, thus the nipples. Notice the two work well together. You should have seen them before the transplant.
I can do that in my sleep, of course, dreaming I can draw like that isn't as good as actually doing it, but, hey, I takes what I can gets.

Good thing about being a draftsman is that you can draw things without ever having to be creative. Not that I'm a draftsman It's more than just technical skill....'tis the creativity which also must be present, and which is so worthy of praise. 'n stuff.

My mother is an artist. It hasn't rubbed off on me though. The only thing I draw are guns and trek vessels. And even then, they need some interpretation...

In all fairness, the picture girls could have warn bras. To go into battle without support is stupid, and in the case of Lara Croft(?) looks terribly painfull.

Oh come on now guys... is it really all that odd? Nobody makes fun of Adam Hughes for it after all? Of course, he's Adam Huges and I'm, well... not.
How's this, the next one I'm doing for him is Elseworlds themed. I promise there will be no nipples in that one. Mostly because Wonder Woman seems to wear armor in most of those stories. Hmmm... Superman doesn't though...

No, I believe they are marketed under the name Big Toys for Small Boys. In all seriousness, I went shopping yesterday for some new socks and the like, and in Wal-Mart, besides man thongs, they sell packs of underwear that come with foam crotch pads. Appearently, it is all the rage to look like David Beckham.

Maybe they're just for guys who are afraid they're going to get racked alot. To mildly connect this, I saw a picture of Sarah Michelle Gellar once in some Japanese magazine where she's quite obviously wearing bra inserts with fake nipples on them to create pokies for the photo.
