I've taken some as-universal-as-possible scaling references and am working on comparing them to various sci-fi things to give a proper sense of scale. The idea is that it should all be things which someone anywhere in the world could recognize and theoretically get out and touch and experience personally, with caveats since there's actually very little in the world of greater-than-person size which such an idea applies to.
Note that the Enterprise CVN-65 is being replaced with the Essex Class WW2 carrier, several of which are on display in the US, and I include comparisons against other ships on display in Europe.

That's an idea I hadn't considered, but then again The Sol System (and the anatomy thereof) is a bit outside the scope of the project.
Besides, from what I gather, I didn't think the NASA space probe had found the end of it yet.
