Recently, we've seen remakes of great, classic films like "Psycho" among others.

And it got me thinking.

In forty years, am I going to be watching a remake of "Star Wars" or "Highlander"? What about twenty years after Paramount abandons the Star Trek franchise and it falls into disuse -- will we be greeted with a new Star Trek film (i.e.: LOST IN SPACE?)... ?

Imagine it ...

New actors playing the roles we've gotten used to. TV characters replaced and combined ... i.e., Kirk's crew could consist of a blind navigator named LaForge and a Vulcan-built Android named DataSpock ... (well, maybe not).

Since I was a young boy, I played the silver ball. From Soho down to Dryton, I must have played them all.

I'm afraid this is off-topic, but I'm pretty sure the one city in your sig is supposed to be "Brighton", not "Dryton"...

Hmmm. Thanks. Course, as you can see, I've already changed it. But that makes a lot more sense now that I think about it ...
