Recently, we've seen remakes of great, classic films like "Psycho" among others. And it got me thinking. In forty years, am I going to be watching a remake of "Star Wars" or "Highlander"? What about twenty years after Paramount abandons the Star Trek franchise and it falls into disuse -- will we be greeted with a new Star Trek film (i.e.: LOST IN SPACE?)... ? Imagine it ... New actors playing the roles we've gotten used to. TV characters replaced and combined ... i.e., Kirk's crew could consist of a blind navigator named LaForge and a Vulcan-built Android named DataSpock ... (well, maybe not).

I'm afraid this is off-topic, but I'm pretty sure the one city in your sig is supposed to be "Brighton", not "Dryton"...------------------ "It's like the Star of David or something. But without the whole Judaism thing." -Frank Gerratana, 17-Aug-2000

Hmmm. Thanks. Course, as you can see, I've already changed it. But that makes a lot more sense now that I think about it ... ------------------
