I sure as hell am. It's scheduled to come out "late 2001" supposedly and going to be even better graphics wise, more 3D. http://avpnews.com ------------------ I knew a blonde that was so stupid that she studied for a blood test. [This message has been edited by TLE (edited April 07, 2001).]

I'm curious as to how it will be "more 3D". Will the aliens actually reach out of your monitor and bite your head off?------------------ You know, when Comedy Central asked us to do a Thanksgiving episode, the first thought that went through my mind was, "Boy, I'd like to have sex with Jennifer Aniston." -Trey Parker, co-creator of South Park

Hmmm. Maybe we should buy it for Omega ------------------ Star Trek Gamma Quadrant Average Rated 8.32 out of 10 Smileys by Fabrux (with seven eps posted) *** "Oh, yes, screw logic, let's go for a theory with no evidence!" -Omega 11:48am, Jan. 19th, 2001

Well yes actually. What "more 3D" means is they will not look as flat as they were in the first game.------------------ I knew a blonde that was so stupid that she studied for a blood test.

The new game engine, optimized for the game, will feature much more realistic interaction. For example, the old game had a very callous feel to it, everything moved very fast, the scaling was strange (everybody was so small) and you hardly ever interacted with the environment (buttons, levers, doors) like in more "comfortable" FPS-games (Halflife, "No One Lives Forever").------------------ Don't kill me, I'm charming!
