This was my response when turning around whilst looking in a mirror in the new FPS/Occult game "Clive Barker's UNDYING" and finding someone staring me in the eyes, grinning, and wanting to kill me.
I fired four shells of buckshot on it before it vanished in thin air, reminding me that banshees are transparent.

This game is the scariest I've seen since "Alone In The Dark", AvP or "Blair Witch Chronicles I"

You play an irish descendant from a family line of weird people, coming to the aid of a friend. You have mana in the game, you can send spells and use premonition on certain places to "see" what can't be seen with the naked eye (for instance a painting, emitting a low whisper, showing a horrible picture behind it when the premonition is activated).

For those of you who like a good scare, strange puzzles and great storytelling (Clive Barker is the mind behind the whole game) I sooo recommend this game. I haven't even finished the demo yet, it's very hard even at medium.

Here's the official website, heh, may not be suitable for kiddies... http://undying.ea.com/

Please don't take this as spam, I just want to talk about the game and the genre. The download rate of the demo was so high, I thought maybe someone here had already tried it. It's already out in the stores...

It's not the content of the post that's a problem, Nimrod, it's the superlong oneline nonfixable title that will mess up the General Sci-Fi Discussion page format for quite a while.

At that point, McDonald fired his gun three times in the air to emphasize his point. The crowd, estimated at 350,000, loudly cheered the new candidate.

I'll see if I can get one of the Admins to delete this thread once one of them comes online.
