Yet another quality episode from my favorite show. Although I'd like to first discuss my dislikes of this episode. WHO WAS THE CLOAKED ASSASIAN?! It looked a lot like Aris Boch from "Deadman Switch" but that wouldnt fit his character. If it was mentioned who it was, I completely missed it.
I really liked the development between the Tokra and the Rebel Jaffa in this episode. You can really see the diffrence between the two. The Tokra are closer to the Romulans, and the Jaffa are closer to the Klingons. My favorite part had to be O'Niel going APESHIT with the machine gun (either a Stoner 67AMG or a M249, looked like an odd mix between the two) in slow-mo... although ultimately it was a few staff weapon blasts that killed that sob.
Also - carter walking off with the personal cloak at the end was good. Finally some new technology that I bet we will see some of later (ah yes, the continutity shines in this series).
Next week's episode, "Cure" (an alien world offers Earth a medicine with the power to cure any illness) looks like it could be the first bad episode of the season, but thats what I thought this one could be.

Well, not really spoilers since this is what you'd get out of the TV Guide description of the show....
But, wouldn't this be a follow up to the two previous Aschen episodes? The "cure any illness" idea sounds familiar

I was waiting for Jack to say 'Cool, now we got a cloaking device!' and walk away leaving pissed off Tok'ra and Jaffa behind
The tension was fantastic, but I hoped for the assasin to be someone we already know, not just a 'no-name redshirt'. BTW, am I the only one who noticed the familiar sound of a Predator swiching vision mode when we saw the action from the assasin's view?

I've missed pretty much this entire season so far. I did catch this episode however and the guy was one of Anubis' men most likely. It was even mentioned that was how Anubis was able to destory the Tokra base.

I did not enjoy the scene with the big loud gun. It was as if the producers had said "Hey, after watching Hamburger Hill for the fifth time last weekend on TNT, we have a super idea!"
Good episode, though, even with the poor fire control.

I don't understand why this season is getting such low ratings, the episodes are really damn good. :\

I haven't been able to see it myself except the first episode and then bits and pieces up until the most recent. I'm surprised at the ratings being low too. So far the two I've seen haven't been disapointments.

I would think the obvious reason is the Sci-Fi Channel is a much smaller market than syndication. Or are we talking about it vs. Showtime ratings? I confess to not knowing what those were. Though on Showtime boobies and swears were permitted, and that always pulls in the important people.
