http://news.scotsman.com/scitech.cfm?id=16902006 -a link to a news site about an idea for a new magnetic drive system. We need to get the Trek peeps of the world out there to brand it Warp, instead of hyperspace! The future depends on it! I find some of it questionable... they seem to consider subspace another dimension, but it's interesting.

I thought it was funny aside the stories of the UK launching it's first GPS satellite... meanwhile the US plans for warp drive. Yes- mayhaps wait for it to work and be reported by CNN before we make vacation plans on Risa.

Sounds like those scientise have been reading star wars novels. Since Hyperspace in starwars works on a similar level whereas the ship jumps into another dimension called 'surprise' Hyperspace!
