I'm told the title is in fact true - with the cancellation of the "big" Titantium toy line, Target is clearing out their remaining toys of the line at $5 instead of $20.
Anyone seen these at their local Target? And if anyone has $5 to spare, would anyone be able to pick one up for an unfortunate Canadian who doesn't even GET these things up here?

Too bad the line is canceled, those toys were nice. Also bad news(for me at least).
I know! I'm so fucking pissed, because I had to jump through several hoops to arrange for me to always get Friday nights off (yes, I know it's a little sad but I don't have an easy way to tape the show reliably) at work. Now they're moving to a different night. Fortunately, the mall closes at 7PM, so there's no worry of me getting there late.
EDIT: ...DAMMIT! They also moved it back to 10PM on Sunday, which means that I'll have to stay up late, since usually on Mondays I'm scheduled for 7:30 AM. Son of a BITCH. Posted by Mark Nguyen (Member # 469) on :
Moan moan moan... Here in Canada we get it a couple days after you do, on Sunday already, when I'm often out. Luckily though, there ways that the show can magically appear in your possession.
So, anyone live near a Target? Anyone?

You mean iTunes? Posted by Mark Nguyen (Member # 469) on :
No, I mean a format that's actually good.

Exactly; I meant ad-free and legal. That's good.
(I know, I know... Don't worry, I'm not looking to start a philosophical debater here.)

So, Sci-Fi are following their "Farscape"-based MO of "we can't let a good, well-liked show survive", but I guess BG is too popular to cancel outright? So, they're going to pull an "Arrested Development" on it?

Well...if I watch nuBSG, I'd be more likelt to watch it Sundays than Fridays because Fridays I might want to attempt to, say, have a life that does not revolve around television.
Or, you could just (GASP!!) tape it.

Yeah I have a feeling they are trying to cancel it.

I'm curious. What exactly DOES the Sci-Fi Channel show? Because they only seem to have a couple of hours' worth of decent original drama on per week, and they seem to resent even that. How much original programming do they produce, decent or not? If most of their schedule is taken up with cheap re-runs, and resuscitated cancelled shows, then why not cut out the original programming altogether?

Luckily I managed to grab a couple of these on my trips to Calais, ME. I have the Galactica and Colonial One.
Also, stupid Sci-Fi Channel.

Just back from my local Target. If they had them, they're gone. A shame.

Consider yourselves lucky if you've even seen one in real life. Over here they don't sell them. We only get those plastic models of the original series ships and characters, which are only okay if you're not too fussy about details, or Apollo perpetually doing the splits.
