Is there a section on Flare that I could share news about new books that are coming out? As excited as I am about new, current and past releases, I do not not want to post any news about them without the Flare blessing to do so.

You can't plug your own products here, it says so in the disclaimer for membership here. It is seen as spamming. Especially since this is your first post and you don't seem that interested in taking part of the community and actually talk about sci-fi on a personal level. Not that spamming would be ok even then. Unless you were invited here by the webmaster? Is that the case?

EDGE is a legitimate publishing company in my hometown, and while I'd encourage everyone to support them and their authors by buying their books, advertising as such would be a violation of the forum disclaimer.
However, it was awesome to ask first, rather than just posting away as some other unfavorable groups have. Must be our Canadian-ness poking through.
