Just watching season one over again, and took a screencap of Chandra's "Find the Heroes" program, because of something I didn't notice before - the 'symbol' (do we have a name for it yet?) that is interwoven through the base pairs is actually 'drawn' with dashes - missing gene sequences? Or what?

I think that's just there for the coolness factor rather than anything meaningful.

"There is a hole in your genes!!!"

You know that symbol looks like half of a DNA molecule, maybe we should call it the Half Symbol.

What about "The Helix"?

Actually, while I was giving my daughter her bath last night, I couldn't help noticing that the letter 'f' in her set of foam letters (which you wet then stick to the side of the bath) looked very similar to the above symbol. I'm now thinking of getting some of that fake tattoo ink (I even saw some in a hobby store the other day) and doing one on her shoulder blade to freak my wife out. Social Services visit, ahoy. . .

Heheheh that sounds funny! Only, though if your wife watches Heroes... then it would be just like "WTF?"

We both watch it, yes.

That would make it even funnier than if you had to explain what the hell it was
