I have to say that I'm both surprised it took someone this long to market it, and appalled that someone thought of it at all. Check out the "limited edition" Cylon toaster! Posted by Daniel Butler (Member # 1689) on :
Neat.
I bet it wouldn't be to difficult to mod a toaster with a sweeping red "Cylon visage" light. You could even put in the sound effect if you wanted to buy an audio chip of some kind.

Not that impressed. As stated above it would have been 10x more awesome if they put a Cylon "eye" in that thing (it would be pretty neat if you it did that only when the toaster was in use or something).
Regardless, I'd still buy it if I could.

Ha, wait until you see my new tap - er, faucet - in the cloakroom of the extension we've had built.

I seem to recall an episode from season where Helo (marooned on Caprica) uses a toaster which bared a passing resemblance to a centurion. Why couldn't they have mass produced that toaster.

That probably *is* a mass-produced toaster that they found somewhere. You just have to find out which one it is.

Yes, as probably everyone knows by now, Adama's shaving mirror is from Ikea (and the design is called Frack).

Some rabid BSG fan will doubtlessly call this silly thing "groundbreaking" and "enthralling" or some such when it's just crapola. Maybe they'll release a BSG edition Humvee while they're at it.
Besides, if they make a sci-fi toaster, it better be ROM!
